Tem 1 2011 12:00AM - Rally of Istanbul will start on 2nd of July at 16:00

3rd race of the Turkish Rally Championship will be organized by ISOK (Istanbul Motorsports Club) in Istanbul. Rally of Istanbul’s Service Area will be in Via Port AVM in Kurtköy. There will be 9 Gravel Special Stages, these stages are Ulupelit, Oruçoglu and Mudarli. Special stages are 133,15 Km and total milage will be 353,75 Km.

Castrol Ford Team Türkiye wants to improve the leadership

In 2010’s Istanbul Rally, Yagiz Avci has completed the rally in the 2nd second place with 18,5 seconds gap after the Serkan Yazici. In 2011, Yagiz Avci’s target is to be in the 1st place by eliminating the challenging competitors.

The team is participating with 2 Fiesta S2000 and 2 Fiesta R2. 2011 Bogaziçi Rally winner Yagiz Avci and co-pilot Bahadir Gucenmez will race with S2000. The other S2000’s driver is Murat Bostanci and co-pilot’s is Onur Vatansever. R2’s drivers co-pilots are Orhan Avcioglu – Burçin Korkmaz and Emre Yurdakul– Burak Erdener.
